Litmaps is operated by Litmap Limited (New Zealand). We use the third-party providers below ("subprocessors") to help deliver our services. We enter into data-protection terms with each that are no less protective than those we offer our customers, we remain responsible for their processing, and where a subprocessor processes personal data outside the EEA/UK we ensure an appropriate transfer safeguard is in place.

‍To provide research features, Litmaps queries public academic metadata sources (including Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex, ORCID and LibKey) — we send search terms and identifiers such as DOIs, not your personal data. Our website and app also use analytics, support and security tools (including Google Analytics, Hotjar, Google reCAPTCHA and Rewardful) as described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy, subject to your cookie choices.

‍We may update this list from time to time and will post material changes here. Customers under a Data Processing Addendum may object to a new subprocessor as set out in that Addendum.
